Your next opportunity:
Supporting site operations by ensuring all mechanical maintenance activities are effectively planned, scheduled, resourced, and documented for the HME and Fixed Plant Teams. This includes creating work methodologies, managing parts and equipment logistics, maintaining CMMS data integrity, and enabling proactive maintenance strategies that maximise plant uptime, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement through lean practices.
Your day will involve:
Developing detailed work plans for the HME and Fixed Plant Teams that include scope, methods, safety controls, tools, equipment, materials, and resource needs.
Coordinating operations and maintenance teams to prioritise and schedule maintenance work in alignment with production demands.
Creating and managing work orders using CMMS (e.g., Maximo), ensuring quality documentation and history logging.
Planning and procuring all spares, consumables, scaffolding, and equipment ahead of scheduled work.
Forecasting labour and contractor requirements and collaborate with Team Leaders for resource allocation
What we are looking for:
Mechanical trade qualifications & current Australian Drivers Licence.
5+ years in a heavy industry, cement, quarry, or heavy manufacturing environment
Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
Proficiency with CMMS platforms (preferably Maximo), and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement frameworks (TPM, 5S, RCA)
