The Change Manager reports to the Enterprise Change Practice, which reports to the Enterprise Portfolio Office (EPO) in the Finance & Governance Division. The EPO drives Capital Project Investment Governance, Assurance, and standards across all project portfolios, supporting the Finance & Governance Division in delivering key corporate services across the AEMO Group.
About The Role
Reporting to the Portfolio Change Manager, with a dotted line to the relevant Program Manager, the Change Manager will deliver artefacts, materials, and activities to support the successful launch and handover of projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Change Management methodologies, practices, and outcomes, and be able to work effectively with highly technical and scientifically minded stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Leverage and apply the AEMO Enterprise Change Framework, Principles, and supporting templates to deliver key artefacts (plans, strategies).
2. Develop and deliver materials, outputs, and solutions for Communications, Training/Learning, and Engagement.
3. Support the Project Manager with inputs for the Enterprise Project Office (EPO) Stage Gate submissions, including mandatory artefacts.
4. Work with the Project Manager to identify and manage Risks, Issues, Dependencies, and Resourcing Demands.
5. Collaborate with other Change Management resources to minimize touch points, manage dependencies, and ensure consistent change experiences.
6. Provide the Portfolio Leadership Team with inputs to support Stage Gate submissions.
What You Will Bring To The Role
Education/Certificates
* Certification and experience in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Kubler-Ross, Bridges Transition Model, PROSCI, Human Centred Design) - desirable.
* Change Management Institute Accreditation at a Specialist level - desirable.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or related discipline - desirable.
Experience and Knowledge
* Minimum 5 years' experience delivering Change Management artefacts, tools, and techniques, including Impact Assessments, Strategies, Communications, Training, Business Readiness Checks, and Handover.
* Understanding of Project Management approaches, tools, and methodologies.
* Experience in planning and executing Change Management activities.
* Business acumen to identify organizational issues, challenges, and solutions.
