Role Overview
Beaconsfield District Health Service seeks a friendly, reliable and customer‐focused Food Services Assistant to support the nutritional well‐being and dining experience of our aged‐care residents, sub‐acute patients and day‐centre clients.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure high standards of food safety and infection prevention, maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment, prioritise tasks effectively in a busy setting, work collaboratively with the team and demonstrate strong reliability and flexibility.
Qualifications and Experience
* Understanding of food safety and infection prevention requirements
* Capacity to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
* Ability to maintain a clean, organiser and safe work environment
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a strong team‐work ethic
Working Hours
Permanent, part‐time, shift worker position. 48 hours per fortnight, shift patterns negotiable.
Salary
From $59,668 to $65,185 per annum (pro‐rate). 12% superannuation contribution is on top. Salary range aligns with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.
