Aboriginal Child Protection Specialist
Our organization is seeking an experienced Aboriginal Child Protection Specialist to work with families in the Mid North Coast region.
The role involves collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to address safety and well-being concerns for Aboriginal children and their families.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, community organizations, and government agencies to achieve optimal outcomes for families.
* Engage with families to understand their needs and develop personalized plans to address safety and well-being concerns.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate potential harm.
* Manage complex cases involving high-risk clients and their families, working collaboratively with other professionals as needed.
* Participate in court processes, including preparation of court documents and attendance at hearings.
* Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure best practices in child protection work.
