About the Role
We are seeking a Speech Pathologist / Speech Therapist to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and families, particularly in the areas of communication, neurodevelopment, and functional capacity building.
You will work with a diverse caseload including:
* Speech and language delays
* Social communication difficulties
* Autism and ADHD presentations
* Literacy and learning support
* Emotional regulation and functional communication
* NDIS participants (assessment, intervention, and reporting)
You'll be supported by an experienced team of psychologists and friendly administration staff, allowing you to focus on clinical work.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver individual and family-based speech therapy sessions
* Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
* Prepare clear, professional reports for families, schools, GPs, and NDIS
* Collaborate with psychologists and other allied health professionals
* Provide feedback and practical strategies to parents and carers
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Essential Criteria
* Degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
* Eligibility for SPA membership (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience or interest in paediatric and/or neurodevelopmental presentations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
