About the Opportunity
An opportunity exists for a motivated and driven Executive Assistant to join the General Manager's Unit (GMU) at Liverpool Hospital as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager. The role involves drafting and distributing high‑level correspondence, diary management, arranging meetings, acting as secretariat for several committees, processing paperwork and supporting general administrative processes within the GMU. It requires working under pressure in a demanding, high‑priority environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑level executive secretarial and administrative support to the General Manager, Liverpool Hospital, in an efficient and effective manner.
* Draft and distribute senior executive correspondence and documents.
* Manage the General Manager's diary and schedule meetings.
* Act as secretariat for various committees, including minute taking and agenda preparation.
* Process paperwork and assist with general administrative tasks.
* Work independently and initiate actions to complete complex tasks.

It offers a wide range of state‑wide services including critical care, trauma, neonatal intensive care, brain injury rehabilitation, emergency care, cancer treatment, paediatrics, and mental health services. The hospital features 23 operating theatres and has a capacity for 877 beds. The ongoing $830 million redevelopment as part of the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct is transforming the hospital into a global hub for medical innovation, expanding clinical services, research, and teaching facilities.

* Demonstrated ability to draft correspondence and other documents for senior executive.

* Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and initiate actions to complete complex tasks.
