About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team and ensure the school remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all. Reporting to the Principal or a nominated delegate, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's facilities to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, offices, and communal areas.
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-use facilities.
Emptying bins, disposing of waste, and replenishing supplies such as soap and hand towels.
Maintaining and storing cleaning equipment correctly and safely.
Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
This role would suit someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
About You
The following traits would be beneficial:
Previous cleaning experience, particularly in a school or similar environment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to follow health and safety guidelines, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks.
