Job Description
The Project Manager role is pivotal in leading and overseeing the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects within our organization.
This position requires a blend of project management expertise, D365 knowledge, and effective leadership to drive successful outcomes.
This role involves strategic planning, effective resource management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality D365 solutions. The Project Manager will be responsible for guiding projects from initiation to completion, managing risks, and fostering strong communication among team members and stakeholders.
Main Assignments will include:
* Project Planning and Management:
o Lead the planning and execution of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) implementation projects.
o Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
o Ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals among team members.
* Resource Management:
o Allocate resources effectively and ensure the project team is well-organized for optimal productivity.
o Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines.
* Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
o Proactively manage and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.
* Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that D365 solutions meet quality standards and align with business requirements.
o Conduct thorough testing and validation of implemented features.
* Change Management:
o Implement effective change management processes to handle modifications to project scope, schedule, or resources.
o Communicate changes and their impact to relevant stakeholders.
* Documentation:

o Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
o Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the project team.
* Training and Support:
o Coordinate training sessions for end-users on new D365 features and functionalities.
o Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users during and after project implementation.
* Reporting:
o Generate regular status reports for project stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
o Present project updates to leadership and project sponsors.
* Vendor Management:
o Collaborate with external vendors and consultants, if applicable, to ensure successful project delivery.
* Manage relationships with third-party service providers.
Qualifications
The successful applicant must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized and have previous experience in IT project management.
Education
* Graduated from a university in a business or computer science discipline
* Certification in a project management methodology. Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
* 5+ years of proven experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation projects (Desirable)
* Change management experience (Desirable)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with a customer service mindset
* Excellent documentation and presentation skills in both technical and business areas.
* Experience in a matrix organization.
* Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines
* Ability to be self-sufficient and work alone, but also work in a team
* Experience working with senior decision makers
