Development Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to join our team in NSW. This exciting opportunity will see you working on the market-leading Elara Community in North-West Sydney, boasting a diverse mix of land and medium-density developments.
This role is based at our Sydney Head Office, where you will collaborate with a seasoned team of property professionals who will provide guidance and mentorship to aid your career growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Collaborating with the Profit Centre Manager to ensure projects are scoped, designed, and delivered according to business strategy, agreed vision, and profitability targets.
* Supporting project delivery to meet schedule, revenue, and cost objectives.
* Contributing to driving sales and marketing activities to achieve business plan objectives.
* Engaging and managing internal and external stakeholders, including authorities.
* Assisting with preparation and maintenance of financial models for current and prospective projects.
* Working alongside the Project Director to control and monitor development budgets and financial reporting.
* Monitoring progress on site, participating in site meetings, and tracking actions from these meetings.
* Collaborating with the Project Director on implementing Residential Sustainability Policy and community development initiatives.
* Procuring and managing consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
* Utilizing your business acumen to monitor market trends and competitor activity, maintaining competitiveness.

About You
Hold a degree in a related field, accompanied by relevant experience in architecture, planning, construction, or the development process, including development or project management.
Prior experience in delivering medium-density or land development subdivisions is highly regarded.
Able to take initiative and work independently as this is an autonomous role.
Demonstrated ability to achieve customer-focused outcomes.
Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
Ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes.
Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
