About the Role As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will take ownership of a designated cluster of sites, working closely with Business Managers and operational leaders to deliver end-to-end people solutions. You'll be supported by a dedicated Coordinator and backed by a national P&C team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll need to hit the ground running. This position is ideal for a Business Partner with solid ER/IR experience looking for breadth, autonomy, and exposure to a variety of people challenges. Key Responsibilities Partner with Business Managers to deliver strategic and operational HR support across a multi-site workforce. Manage high-volume ER/IR casework including investigations, performance management, misconduct, and terminations - ensuring procedural fairness every step of the way. Coach leaders through end-to-end employee matters, from incident to outcome. Collaborate with unions (TWU, UWU) and maintain awareness of the Victorian IR landscape. Identify and implement process improvements in a reactive and fast-paced environment. Mentor and guide your Coordinator to deliver first-level support across your portfolio. Ensure compliance with policies, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation. About You Experienced: Strong ER/IR and case management background - ideally from security, logistics, transport, distribution, manufacturing, or another high-volume operational environment. Resilient & Energetic: Thrives in a busy, reactive business with ebbs and flows. Commercially Savvy: Balances compliance with commercial outcomes and understands operational realities. Process-Minded: Able to work with limited structure and contribute to building better systems. Tech-Savvy: Experience with Workday (or similar HRIS) highly regarded.
