Todd's Landscape Maintenance – Cockburn Central WA
As a Team Leader in Lawn and Garden Maintenance at Todd's Landscape Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a small team of one or two gardeners in delivering high-quality lawn and garden maintenance services to our clients. This is a full-time role based in Cockburn, Western Australia servicing sites all around the metro area which are high quality commercial businesses, predominately in aged care.
Responsibilities
* Supervising and coordinating a small team of one or two gardeners to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
* Assigning tasks to team members to meet client requirements
* Performing tasks alongside the team members to meet these client requirements and leading by example
* Providing hands-on support and guidance to the team, including demonstrating gardening and landscaping techniques
* Monitoring the quality of work and providing feedback to team members to maintain high standards
* Liaising with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting on team performance to management
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role within the lawn and garden maintenance industry
* Strong knowledge of gardening and landscaping techniques, including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address any issues that arise
* Ability to work collaboratively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
* Strong organisational and time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery
* A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate landscaping equipment
* Possession of a valid C class (car) driver's licence is required for this position
* Australian work rights are required for this role
