The Professional and Ethical Standards Directorate is responsible for investigating misconduct allegations against employees and supporting managers in addressing underperformance. They also lead projects to enhance complaint management.
Within the Directorate, the role is situated in the Staff Complaints Team, focusing on improving the management of staff complaints across the NSW Department of Education. They lead evidence-based business process reforms related to managing workplace grievances.
About the role
The role of a Project Officer (System Administration) is vital in supporting the development and utilisation of the staff complaints system. As a key member of the team, you will make real impact by ensuring the effective management of staff complaints and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Establishing robust processes for data collection and reporting
2. Providing expert advice and technical support for users
3. Collaborating with members of the team to implement strategic initiatives to enhance best practices in complaint management.
4. Engage with stakeholders across the organisation including other business units to drive continuous system improvements.
