About The Role

Lismore Base Hospital is seeking an After Hours Nurse Manager (AHNM) / Patient Flow Manager (PFM) to join the team. The AHNM/PFM represents the facility's leadership team and is responsible for the operational management of the hospital after hours, overseeing patient flow, bed management and staffing to support safe and effective service delivery. Working as part of the hospital's management team, the AHNM/PFM provides leadership and support to clinical staff in the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated patient care. The role ensures that care across the facility is safe, well-coordinated and delivered to a high standard, while maintaining strong communication and continuity with the in‐hours management team. The AHNM/PFM also manages a broad range of nursing and midwifery matters and ensures appropriate response to clinical incidents and emergencies across the hospital.
