About the Role
In this rewarding role, you'll be supporting a young woman with complex physical and high intensity support needs. You'll provide high intensity disability support, helping her live with dignity, independence, and joy.
You're not just skilled in complex care — you're someone who believes in having fun, sharing laughs, and building genuine connections with the people you support.
This role is ideal for people with experience supporting people with complex physical and high intensity support needs or people transitioning from nursing to community‑based disability support.
You'll Bring
* Demonstrated experience supporting people with physical disabilities.
* Experience providing personal care and social support in their home and community settings.
* Proven skills in complex and high‑intensity support, including:
o Meal Time Management / Dysphagia
o Manual Handling & Hoisting
o PEG / J‑PEG Feeding and Medication Administration
o Skin Integrity, Pressure & Ulcer Care
o Personal Care
* Experience using communication tools and aides.
* Ability to maintain accurate documentation, notes, and charting.
* A genuine passion for empowering individuals to reach their goals.
* A collaborative mindset.
The Ideal Candidate(s) Will Have
* Demonstrated experience in complex physical and high intensity disability support.
* Ideal for those with nursing experience or transitioning from nursing into disability care.
* Competency in PEG tube care, including feeding, medication administration, and site maintenance.
* Understanding of medication administration and relevant guidelines.
* Competence in usingdigital platforms and electronic record systems for reporting, communication, and compliance.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure all records are up-to-date and meet quality and safety standards.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
* Commitment to person‑centred care and ethical practice.

* Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Reliable smartphone with data
* Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You"
