Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with architects, design engineers, and verification engineers on specifications, verification plans, and test plans
* Develop and maintain C/C++ models and supporting systems
* Debug, test, analyze, and improve model functional and performance accuracy
* Identify and implement opportunities for improving AMD's design and verification environment
About You
The company is looking for a fresh graduate or someone with 1 to 3 years of experience as a software designer and engineer proficient in C++ with the following skills and qualifications:
* Proficiency in C++ software design and engineering
* Knowledge of GPU or other computer hardware and Graphics APIs is an advantage
* Experience developing complex systems in a structured environment
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to understand requirements and clarify expectations
* Proactive and self-motivated with a dynamic work environment mindset
* Team player who respects diverse perspectives and supports team objectives
* Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
* Preferred experience with C or C++ software development, profiling and debug tools, Graphics API or pipeline knowledge, hardware design or verification, HDLs (Verilog/VHDL), scripting languages (Python, Perl, shell), productivity tools (Jira, Jenkins), and configuration management (Perforce, GIT)
