Based in Macquarie Park you will be reporting into Head of Business Finance; this role will focus on the Industrial Automation businesses.You will be responsible for the delivery of scalable growth and value creation through business advisory and thoughtful analysis to drive strategic decision making.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong trusted relationships with the business to influence decisions and outcomesProvide support to business leaders from insights to actions to deliver and optimize business performance by supporting strategy and participating in decision makingAct as entity controller for PA entities in AU and NZDrive accountability and P&L; ownership of key business stakeholdersEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal Schneider policiesReview Industry and PA monthly financial results and KPIs to ensure accuracySupport Finance transformation projects including ERP implementations and migrationsAbout youYou are highly driven and strategic, focused on finding opportunities and ways to optimise work processes.
You have sound experience of accounting fundamentals and thrive in partnering with the business by delivering financial analysis, actionable insights, and governance/control.Key skills and experienceTertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting; professional qualifications desirableDemonstrated experience of ~10+ years in Finance/AccountingExposure to Project/Service accounting and/or Software business models is desirableUnderstanding of relevant industries; People Leadership, Financial (P&L;) Management, Strategic Thinking and Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting, Risk Management, Business SystemsComprehensive knowledge of Lean Six SigmaKnowledge of performance measurementMastery of systems, analytical tools and data managementWhy Schneider Electric?
