Hours: Part-time – 5 hours per day must be available 12pm - 6pm (Monday to Friday)
About the Role:
As a Centre Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our childcare team by ensuring a clean, hygienic, and well-maintained environment for children and staff. This is an active role, a high level of fitness is required.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Laundry Duties – washing, drying, and folding children's bedding and centre linens and maintaining the laundry environment
* Cleaning Duties – maintaining high cleanliness standards across the centre, including playrooms, common areas, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces (mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning windows for six classrooms)
* Mealtime Support – assisting with cleaning and sanitizing dishes, and food preparation areas
* General Upkeep – helping to keep our spaces fresh, tidy, and inviting for children and staff
What We're Looking For:
* A friendly and reliable team player with great attention to detail.
* Experience in cleaning or housekeeping (childcare or hospitality experience is a bonus).
* Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices (or willingness to learn).
* Someone who enjoys working around children in a fast-paced environment.
