As a Lobby Ambassador / Porter, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests meet and the final wave goodbye. You’ll help create a seamless, welcoming, and memorable experience with genuine warmth and vibrant energy.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests with a smile and offer a warm, personal welcome to voco Melbourne Central
* Provide valet parking services with care and professionalism (Full Australian Driver's Licence required)
* Assist guests with luggage during arrivals and departures
* Keep our lobby and entrance areas fresh and tidy, including managing water stations and removing used bottles
* Support the Front Office team with guest-related or operational tasks
* Be attentive to guest needs and handle requests or inquiries with a can-do attitude
* Report maintenance or security concerns to ensure a safe and well-presented property
Requirements
* A valid full driver’s licence (essential for valet services)
* Physically fit and happy to be on your feet – this is an active, hands-on role
* A genuine passion for delivering great guest service
* Calm under pressure, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
* Previous hotel or customer-facing experience is a bonus, but a positive attitude matters most!
