ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, motivated, strategic and creative individual to manage several iconic Australian alcohol brands and deliver ongoing growth in our alcohol portfolio.
As the Brand Manager, you will look to develop and deliver strategic brand plans and campaigns including consumer and trade programs which will achieve commercial success. You'll be able to analyse trends within the alcohol category and identify opportunities for your brands. You will be a strong communicator with a good record of engaging and influencing stakeholders. The role encompasses elements of brand strategy, product development, partnerships, packaging, sales materials, events, competition entries and cross‐functional stakeholder management.
Your main areas of focus will be:
Own annual brand and tactical plans aligned to volume, share and profitability targets. Lead end‐to‐end execution of trade activations, digital and in‐store campaigns, partnering closely with Sales to deliver national and key account plans. Set KPIs, evaluate performance and continuously optimise activity.
Brand Communications
Lead all brand communications across channels, including social and content strategy, ensuring all activity is on‐brand, compliant, approved and consistently executed, with performance reviewed and optimised.
Events & Experiential Marketing
Plan and deliver high‐impact brand events and activations across trade, consumer and on‐premise channels. Manage budgets, suppliers and agencies within A&P, measure effectiveness and apply learnings to future activity.
Consumer & Market Leadership
Act as the voice of the consumer, translating insights and trends into winning brand strategies, innovation and engagement across the full marketing mix.
Lead end‐to‐end NPD and portfolio management, from insight and concept through launch and optimisation. Drive innovation pipelines through robust gate processes and manage cross‐functional delivery on time, on brief and on budget, including packaging, artwork and SKU strategy.
Own brand financial performance, managing A&P, ROI, pricing and CAAP targets. Drive margin and sustainable growth through disciplined budget management, supplier governance and cost efficiencies.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
Collaborate cross‐functionally to deliver shared objectives, align teams on strategy and priorities, and provide clear leadership across campaigns, projects and innovation initiatives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
To be expertly mixed within the business, you will have the following experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related field
* Effective relationship management skill with internal and external stakeholders
* Previous experience in FMCG Sales and/or Hospitality will be an advantage
* Flexibility for a small amount of events and regional travel
