About the role
We're expanding our asphalt crew and looking for reliable, hard-working people to join Betta Asphalt.
You'll be working on asphalt maintenance and patching projects for local councils across Melbourne's South East.
This is physical, hands-on work — but it comes with structure, consistency, and better rewards.
What you'll get
• Full-time, consistent work – 5 days a week
• No more chasing shifts or wondering if you'll get hours
• Early finishes are common – and you're still paid for the full day
• $35–$40 per hour + quarterly bonus opportunities
• Optional overtime if you want to earn more
• Stable, ongoing work with secured council contracts
What you'll be doing
• General labouring and asphalt work
• Assisting with patching and road maintenance
• Working as part of a small, reliable crew
• Following safety procedures and maintaining quality standards
We're looking for people who:
• Show up on time and take pride in their work
• Are physically fit and used to hands-on work
• Work well in a team
• Take safety seriously
You'll need:
• White Card (OHS induction)
• Good work references
Bonus (not essential):
• Traffic Management ticket
• HR or MR licence
