Service Advisor / Office Manager
Build the Engine Room of Perth's Premium Mobile Mechanic. Tech 2 You Autocare is Perth's premium at‐home vehicle servicing business; workshop‐quality work delivered to the customer's driveway and backed by a 2‐year unlimited km warranty. We are scaling toward national expansion and need the right person to run the office at our Welshpool workshop and make it all happen.
What you'll own
* 10–20 inbound calls a day — bookings, quotes, warranty queries, and supplier calls
* Quoting jobs from workshop technicians' inspections — pricing, parts sourcing, sending to the customer, and following up to close
* Parts ordering and supplier management – Repco, Veales, Bursons, Napa, and any others that win the work
* Bookings, scheduling, and light dispatch through ServiceM8
* Managing every customer‐facing channel – email inbox, Facebook messages, Instagram DMs, and Google review responses
* Building the systems and processes that future office team members will use
You're a fit if
* You have genuine automotive knowledge – you know the difference between a service and a logbook, you can talk brake pads with a customer, and you can hold your own with parts suppliers on the phone
* You've worked in a dealership, workshop, or auto parts environment before (service advisor, parts interpreter, workshop coordinator, etc.)
* You're calm and professional on the phone, no matter who's on the other end
* You're organised, thorough, and the kind of person who notices when something's slipping before it becomes a problem
* You want to build something, not just clock in and out
* You're comfortable with technology – we use ServiceM8, QuickBooks, Gmail, and Meta tools (we'll train you on what you don't know)
* You're based in Perth and can commit to full‐time hours at the Welshpool workshop
Bonus points
* Service advisor or workshop coordinator experience at a dealership or independent workshop
* Existing relationships with local parts suppliers
* ServiceM8 experience (not required – we'll train you)
* Experience quoting jobs and closing customers over the phone
* You've built or improved a system, a process, or a small team somewhere before
The opportunity
This is the first office hire as we scale toward national expansion. The systems you build in your first 12 months become the playbook for every office team member who joins after you.
