Local Area Coordinator (169146) Busselton, AustraliaIn these Local Area Coordination roles, working in Busselton, you will be responsible for assisting people with disability, their families, and their carers to build and pursue their goal to live their best life, exercise choice and control, and engage with the National Disability Insurance Scheme – Partners in Community.You will be responsible for:Collaborating with people with a disability to assess their eligibility for supports through an NDIS plan.Connecting people with disabilities to supports within the local communityAssist participants to understand and use the supports in their NDIS plan, ensure the plan is working well, and support participants apply for changes to their plan.Improving community knowledge of the NDIS and creating new opportunities to connect participants to services and supportMeeting identified contractual KPIsTo be successful in this role…You are an approachable, positive, passionate, and respectful person who can build and nurture relationships easily and confidently.
