We are currently seeking a Planning Analyst to join Seed Heritage. In this role, you will support the flow of stock across our Australian and international stores, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time. You will be responsible for managing allocations for new, replenishment and core product, coordinating stock consolidation activity, and supporting reporting and analysis that drives commercial decision-making across the business.
Role
* Develop and refine allocation grids by department or class per season, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
* Efficiently allocate stock based on order quantities and current grids, while considering sales trends and inventory cover.
* Maintain optimal levels of stock by setting up and managing min/max thresholds for key styles.
* Coordinate stock allocation for new store launches, closures, and renovations, ensuring smooth transitions.
* Lead national‐level stock consolidations and facilitate international stock transfers as needed.
* Conduct regular reviews of warehouse inventory to minimise idle stock and ensure efficient allocation.
* Generate and distribute daily sales analysis reports for designated regions, providing valuable insights to the business.
* Perform sales and stock analysis across various parameters, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
* Verify the accuracy of all managed reports before dissemination to management and the wider team.
* On‐site role 5 days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
Ideal Candidate
* A tertiary qualification or equivalent in fashion, business, economics or finance is preferred; open to recent graduates with a focus on fashion or business studies.
* Entry‐level candidates welcome; exposure to retail environments is advantageous.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including filters, sorting, formulas, pivot tables, and vlookups.
* Thrives under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines with precision.
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail, high organisational, and time management skills.
* Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
* Capable of multitasking and adept at problem‐solving.
