About the role

Our Support at Home Program helps older people to live safely and independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Positions are located within your local area, providing support to clients in Bendigo, Castlemaine and surrounding communities.

These are part‐time roles with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight. You must be available to work at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours.

You will travel between clients' homes, providing personalised support tailored to individual needs. This is meaningful work where you can see the difference you make every day.

Role type
  • Home Care Domestic Support
    • Home Care Domestic Support workers focus primarily on domestic assistance, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
    • No qualification is required for this role
What you will be doing
  • Providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry and tidying
  • Respecting and incorporating each client's cultural, spiritual and individual needs
  • Monitoring client wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Building respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families
About you

You are compassionate, reliable and genuinely motivated to make a difference in people's lives. You enjoy both working independently and being part of a supportive team.

This role is ideal if you have
  • Willingness to obtain Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • A current Victorian driver's licence and unlimited access to a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Experience in domestic support and cleaning
  • An understanding of client‐directed care
  • A commitment to respectful, high‐quality support
  • Commitment to a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Essentials for working in Aged Care
  • You must have, or be willing to obtain:
    • A current Victorian Working With Children Check (employee)
    • Current and ongoing flu vaccination
    • Australian working rights
    • A National Police Check
