Casual Dock Hand Banksmeadow $42-48 per hour
Our client located in Banksmeadow are currently seeking casual experienced Freight Handlers. The Freight Handlers will be required to manually move freight within the depot.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions
* Unload or load vehicles and cages / stillages
* Scanning and sorting freight up to 25 kilos
* Re palletising of freight
* Identifying damages and reporting in accordance to site process
* Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
Skills & Experience
* Basic understanding of a transport depot is highly advantageous
* Have a high attention to detail
* Confident using a scanner
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and good numeracy skills and postcode knowledge
* Previous experience in a transport depot
* Transport blue card or willing to obtain
