About the role
We are looking for an Analyst programmer/developer who can design, implement, and support functional changes in the Capital system as part of a project, core development or platform support. A programmer role, developing in a procedural language, being CTL (Capital Translator Language) which is an inhouse platform.

In this role you will be accountable to
* Analyse and translate business requirements into software designs.
* Coding, unit testing and installing application programs. Reviewing code prior to handover and completion of unit tests.
* Documenting of development diagrams/programs, code comments and other artifacts.
* Maintaining an application program which involves design, development, bug investigation and fixes.
* Ensure timely completion of activities by adhering with the agreed processes & quality standards.
* Participate in day-to-day meetings, providing early escalation of issues and input into change management.
* Support during the completion of QA testing.
What you will bring to be successful in the role
* 5+ years of programming experience within financial services systems, superannuation.
* Exposure to mainstream Development Language.
* Previous exposure to Visual BASIC, VBA, VBScript, or similar desirable.
* Programming Skills in CTL (Capital Translator Language) will be provided. CTL is a bespoke in-house business-oriented development language
* Strong SQL, debugging skills, low level database skills.
* Experience in development Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile.
