Senior Software Engineer – Digital Team
As a Senior Software Engineer in our Digital team, you'll contribute to the design, development and delivery of high‐quality software solutions that power our customer and operational experiences.
We're currently hiring for two distinct opportunities:
* Greenfield build – Assist in leading the engineering of a new platform from the ground up, making key decisions on architecture, tooling and engineering standards.
* Platform evolution – Making key decisions on the design and build and ensuring engineering standards are fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, designers and engineers to deliver features end‐to‐end
* Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers, supporting their growth and development
* Ensure a strong focus on performance, usability and customer experience
* Leverage modern engineering practices and AI‐assisted tools to improve development efficiency and quality
* Maintain clear and up‐to‐date technical documentation across systems and processes
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement across engineering practices, tools and ways of working
Qualifications
* Strong capability in designing and delivering scalable, high‐performing systems
* Solid understanding of front‐end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, responsive design)
* Experience contributing to technical design and architecture decisions
* A track record of writing clean, maintainable, well‐tested code
* Experience working in Agile, cross‐functional teams
* A passion for mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers
* Strong collaboration and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to take ownership in fast‐paced environments
* Experience in airline, travel or loyalty environments
