A passion for the renewable energy sector is essential, as you will represent BAM BAM to stakeholders, the community, and our team. Building and nurturing relationships is a crucial aspect of this role, as it helps enhance the business's brand and reputation.

Where you'll be working

Initially based on our Broadsound project in Queensland, and then our projects across the country.

Willingness to work FIFO/DIDO across Australia is essential for this role.

Main duties and responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective plans and schedules tailored for piling, drilling, mechanical installation and module installation projects on solar farms, optimising resource allocation.
- Identify and address project risks and work on continuous process improvement for daily output optimisation.
- Collaborate with on-site teams, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers to meet project objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on-site and manage project teams and client interactions.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship within the on-site construction team.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules, providing regular updates to company directors.
- Prepare progress claims, variation claims and EOT claims.
- Lead project closeout activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations and contract terms.
- Conduct site visits for potential new projects.
- Assist with tender preparations.
- Source and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate closely with company directors on general business development initiatives.

Experience/ Qualifications

- Permanent and unrestricted Australian work rights are required for this position.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Construction manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- A degree or certification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
