Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of client-hosted networks and server infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service experiences for both internal and external users. A typical day in this role includes supporting clients by taking a customer-first approach, managing servers to ensure high availability and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), performing daily system administration tasks such as scripting, patching, backups, endpoint security monitoring systems, assisting with network management in cloud environments, and proactively managing and maintaining high levels of security, performance, and availability for Windows servers. You will also create and maintain documentation for services, infrastructure, and systems under management. To excel in this position, you will require proven experience in systems administration in cloud-hosted environments (AWS, Azure), Windows Server administration experience (DNS, DHCP, Firewall, Terminal Services), scripting and programming skills using PowerShell and Python to automate server, network, and web services management, databases and web servers administration experience (Postgres, SQL, IIS/Apache/Nginx), and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
