The Executive Assistant position supports the Senior Executive through the provision of administrative functions and reports directly to the Executive Director.
Working under limited direction over a broad area of activity, the key responsibilities of the Executive Assistant role include:
- Liaising with senior level executives, and their offices across government and the institutional sector to arrange meetings, collate agendas and triage correspondence.
- Coordination of activities including meetings
- Manage travel and associated requirements for the SES officer.
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Have a level of cultural capability in order to undertake respectful interest and engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, policy and peoples.
- Possess an eye for detail and be highly organised, with a proactive approach to managing their own workload and that of the SES officers they support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and circumstances.
Prior experience in the provision of administrative support to SES officers would be ideal.
