About the Role: As the Distribution Centre Manager, you'll oversee operations at a 14,000 sqm site, leading a high performing team and ensuring service excellence across multiple customer accounts. You'll play a key role in the upcoming transition to a larger facility, driving operational readiness, inventory migration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations across a multi-client spare parts DC.
* Lead the transition from a 14,000 sqm site to a 25,000 sqm facility in early 2026.
* Oversee labour planning, inventory accuracy, and SLA compliance.
* Drive productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency through agile operations.
* Implement and monitor KPIs aligned with customer and business goals.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives across systems, layout, and processes.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and root cause analyses using Excel and PowerPoint.
* Leverage SAP WMS and RF technology for data-driven decision making.
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and professional warehouse environment.
* Travel interstate/intrastate as required to support operational needs.
About You
* Proven experience managing large-scale DCs with a spare parts focus.
* Strong SAP WMS knowledge is essential.
* Data-driven and analytical, with a strategic mindset and operational agility.
* Hands on leadership style Lead from the front and empower your team.
* Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
* Strong work ethic, tenacity, and ownership of outcomes.
* Skilled in project management, continuous improvement, and team development.
* Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends during peak periods.
* Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
Checks Required: Police, sanctions, medical, and valid work rights (minimum PR).
