Key Responsibilities
Deliver configuration and customisation discussions in consultation across business end-user stakeholders.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions that meet business requirements.
Support successful delivery of solutions through strong stakeholder management and hands-on involvement while leading enhancement.
About The Role
Work within the SAP Business Support Unit, supporting the department's SAP instance that covers Finance and Controlling (FICO), Investment Management, Materials Management (MM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Project Systems (PS) and Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence (BW/BI).
Research, analyse, evaluate and provide advice on business and systems requirements and support the solution to achieve SAP Support Unit objectives.
Report to the Manager, SAP Functional Team.
Experience and Skills
Design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP functionality for PM and EAM.
Provide SAP functional consulting across EAM and PM and support the department and SAP knowledge transfer to the wider support team.
Strong ability to understand business processes and recommend options and implement solutions to enhance business performance and reform processes.
Provide relevant SAP functional expertise, guidance and training to end users.
Translate business needs into well written, unambiguous functional requirements and deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality.
Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with support stakeholders and team members.
Work independently when required to achieve agreed outcomes and build working relationships with clients through effective communication.
Assist in developing and implementing quality support related processes and procedures to ensure a high-quality outcome for clients of the support unit.
Highly Desirable Attributes
Minimum of 2 years proven experience in SAP implementations.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA and supporting transitions from SAP ERP6 to S/4HANA.
SAP certification and/or Minimum 5 years proven experience in one or more relating to EAM and PM SAP modules.
Experience in projects managed under PRINCE2, ITSM change framework or AGILE.
