Full time Baker or Apprentice – Immediate Start

We’re looking for a motivated full-time baker (or apprentice baker) to join our team at Lobethal Bakery. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly, energetic team workplace, where traditional baking and quality products are at the heart of what we do.
About the Role
Full-time position with immediate start
Early morning shifts (typically starting around 3:00am, anywhere between 1:00–4:00am)
Saturday shifts required as part of the roster rotation – no Sunday work
Hands-on baking of breads, cakes, and pastries
Work as part of a passionate, skilled team
Pathways available for both experienced bakers and apprentices starting out

About You
Several years of experience as a professional Baker or Pastry Chef
Formal qualifications in baking or a related culinary field (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
Enthusiasm for baking and a willingness to learn
Reliable, hardworking, and a great team player
Ready to commit to an apprenticeship pathway
For both:
Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods
