About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the growth of our contracting business in the South Coast and ACT region. This role is pivotal in driving business success by building strong relationships with contractors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects, and identifying opportunities for growth in the market.

The successful candidate will oversee project delivery, manage client relationships, and provide technical expertise to ensure Knauf's solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute strategies to grow the contracting business in the South Coast and ACT region.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and key stakeholders.
* Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Provide technical advice and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with Knauf's innovative solutions.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
* Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all projects.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or building materials industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* In-depth knowledge of contracting processes, project management, and construction materials.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
* A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving business goals.

* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
