About the role Provide intensive therapeutic support to young people ******) under Guardianship at risk of or experiencing sexual exploitation.
Work with families, carers and agencies to deliver trauma-informed care.
Collaborate closely with DCP, Aboriginal organisations and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide mobile, flexible and assertive outreach support across multiple locations.
Key duties of the role Safeguard vulnerable young people through trauma-informed, safety-focused care Deliver intensive therapeutic and group interventions for complex trauma Strengthen partnerships with families, carers and multi-agency partners Provide culturally safe support for Aboriginal young people and communities Offer flexible outreach services across settings to meet individual needs Skills and Experience Degree in Social Work with AASW eligibility or membership Minimum 2 years therapeutic experience with vulnerable young people Experience in trauma, crisis and sexual assault intervention Ability to work flexibly, independently and under pressure Willingness to travel and provide outreach-based counselling Enquiries can be directed to Want to learn more about career opportunities at WCHN?
