Details: About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Reporting, the Assistant Director Reporting plays a key role in strengthening reporting capability and procurement governance across iCBR. This position leads the development and implementation of processes, frameworks and systems that enable iCBR and the broader ACT Government to meet obligations under the Government Procurement Act 2001 and other relevant legislation. The role builds strong relationships across iCBR, Treasury, Procurement ACT and other ACT Government directorates to support accurate, timely and transparent procurement and project reporting. The Assistant Director will also lead projects that contribute to whole‑of‑government governance and assurance outcomes while ensuring data quality, compliance and system functionality meet business and legislative requirements.

Note: This is a temporary position available from 11 May 2026 until 30 June 2026, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
