Our Seniors Living services are connected and offer a continuum of care to people living across our seven large, active, vibrant, retirement living estates with individualised care and services provided through our in-home care and service provider, RAAFA Connect or stay in one of our five warm and welcoming residential aged care homes.
Support our residents at RAAFA's Erskine Grove as a Retirement Wellbeing Officer. Working on a permanent full-time basis, join the team in delivering information, support and guidance to our amazing residents.
About the Role:
 * Assist residents to link to support services whilst encouraging independence and choice;
 * Lead and participate in projects related to resident well-being;
 * Encourage programs which help promote health, wellbeing and the active lives of residents;
 * Consult with residents and their representatives to identify and develop strategies to deal with concerns;
 * Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure residents are supported as their needs change;
 * Respond to resident duress calls where required during office hours, taking action as required and record actions taken;
 * Responsibility to comply with all RAAFA Policies and Procedures and all reasonable management directions.
About You:
 * Understanding of Active Ageing and history of applying this to previous roles;
 * Demonstrated ability to assess residents' care and well-being requirements and to prioritise effectively;
 * Experience in conflict resolution and well-developed problem-solving skills;
 * Awareness of issues related to Aged Care with appropriate advocacy and negotiation skills;
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a knowledge of Microsoft Office;
 * Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience;
 * National "C" Class Driver's Licence.
