Are you a customer service and administration professional with strong organizational skills and a knack for planning? We are seeking a friendly, organised and reliable Administration & Reception Officer to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our business and plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Alcom Security is a trusted, family-owned business with over 32 years of experience in the security industry. As an authorised dealer for both Crimsafe and 3M Security & Tint products, we deliver high-quality security solutions tailored to residential, retail, and commercial clients across South East Queensland — including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and surrounds.

About the Role


In this position, you will manage front desk reception duties while providing essential administrative and finance support.


Key Responsibilities

* Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
* Direct calls to the appropriate team members
* Greet visitors and manage reception enquiries
* Take payments, issue receipts and accurately enter payment details into the finance system
* Maintain accurate records and basic financial data entry
* General administrative support as required


About You


We are looking for someone who

* Is reliable and experienced
* Has excellent phone manner and communication skills
* Is well presented and professional
* Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Is confident handling payments and data entry
* Has basic experience using finance or accounting systems (preferred but not essential)
* Can manage multiple tasks while remaining calm and organised
