The Heights Technical College offers four industry training programs focusing on industries in high demand such as Aeroskills (aviation maintenance), Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Building and Construction and Early Childhood and Education. The college partners with high‐profile employers, training providers and higher education partners.
We are seeking an Early‐Childhood trainer for the Early‐Childhood Industry Training Program.
What will you do
* This position will focus on the delivery of learning that allows students to fulfil the requirements of the Early‐Childhood industry training programs delivered at the Technical College. The trainer provides current and authentic industry learning activities and coaching that develops the skills and dispositions required by employers in the workplace.
* Work in collaboration with the Industry Program Lead to implement and evaluate the curriculum of the Industry Training Programs.
* Contribute to the planning, delivery and assessment of industry experiences, career planning, coaching and mentoring.
* Provide advice and assistance to support students with industry connections and opportunities in the workplace.
What you will need
* Extensive successful experience working within the early‐childhood professional area.
* Establish sound and effective relationships and communication with staff, students, parents and training providers to promote professional dialogue and a collaborative working culture resulting in improved educational outcomes for students.
* Deliver approaches that foster student engagement and support learner growth.
