Opportunity Overview
We are seeking Personal Care Workers to support our residents in an independent environment.
You will work closely with the clinical, lifestyle, and hospitality teams to deliver resident-centric care, enabling residents to make choices and control their support needs.
This is a key role where you will be highly visible and play a significant part in helping us achieve our goals.
As a Personal Care Worker, your main focus will be on providing compassionate care and supporting residents in their daily lives.
You will have limited direct supervision and will be responsible for maintaining professional relationships with residents and colleagues alike.
About the Role
This is a busy role that requires you to be highly organized and able to work effectively in a team environment.
You will be required to complete an online medical assessment prior to formal offer to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrated 1 year of experience in the Australian Aged Care Sector
* Excellent work ethic, ability to work in a team and follow set safety procedures at all times
* Excellent safety awareness to avoid tripping, falling or hurting yourself or others
* Able to think on your feet and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of residents
* Hold a certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR have completed 1st year nursing studies
* Must have NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
