Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team in Business Development and Sales. This is a mid-senior level role that requires a strong track record of success in project and tender sales, as well as excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Main Responsibilities
* Focus on project and tender sales, including the scope of work involved during the bidding/tendering phase.
* Develop leads and work with customers during pre- and post-tendering phases.
* Create effective customer engagement and relation building.
* Lead negotiations during bidding/tendering phases.
* Take complete responsibility and lead coordination with internal & external stakeholders for successful submission of bids.
Requirements
* 10–15 years sales experience within the Australian Electricity Transmission & Distribution sector.
* Knowledge of high-voltage substations & battery energy storage systems.
* Experience working with Australian utility customers such as Transgrid, Powerlink, Ausnet or private renewable customers.
* Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions prevalent in the transmission/renewable sector for substations/BESS.
* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
