About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing, producing, and serving high-quality meals to our guests. They will maintain exceptional cleanliness and safety throughout the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets the highest standards from breakfast through dinner.
The Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present high-volume bulk and batch cookery, with a focus on food storage and preparation methods.
* Maintain high standards in food storage and preparation methods, with attention to detail.
* Work knowledgeably of Food Safety Standards and HACCP principles.
* Ensure adherence to workplace safety and compliance standards, maintaining safe practices for self, colleagues, property, and equipment operation.
* Contribute to a diverse team of chefs and kitchenhands, working confidently under pressure.
* Hold valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months.
* Possess a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate, NVQ Level 4 or City & Guilds accepted.
* Demonstrated expertise in high-volume bulk and batch cookery, FIFO, cruise ship, or defence catering experience essential.
