Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support project delivery teams and optimise outcomes through effective procurement, contract management, and financial administration. This is a full-time position, but we are open to considering candidates completing studies who prefer part-time hours initially, with a view to transitioning to full-time.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer head contracts including variations, extensions of time, progress claims, and handover documentation
* Manage subcontractor and supplier agreements including claims, variations, and issue resolution
* Prepare and issue project cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
* Support Project Managers with budgets, claims, and reporting
* Prepare and manage subcontract and supplier tender packages
* Source and assess competitive trade and supplier quotes
* Maintain registers for drawings, RFIs, variations, tenders, defects, and purchase orders
* Ensure compliance with WHS obligations and statutory requirements
* Assist with site coordination, deliveries, and material scheduling where required
The Successful Applicant
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline
* Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
* Strong understanding of procurement, contract law fundamentals, and cost control
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems
