Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in providing quality education and care for children aged 0-3.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be part of a research project that aims to inform future government funding for early childhood services and improve outcomes for families. They will work under the direction of a multidisciplinary leadership team to support the effective implementation of the Safe Haven program in Wendouree.
Key responsibilities include working with educators across all aspects of service provision to achieve desired outcomes, fostering partnerships with parents, colleagues, and community members, and ensuring the developmental needs, interests, and experiences of each child in care are being met.
The role is temporary full-time or casual until December 2026 and offers a Band 4 salary range between $34.46 - $36.70 per hour, plus super.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must hold a relevant tertiary Diploma in Early Childhood (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority) and substantial professional experience in Early Years' services.
A strong interest in meeting the needs of children and their families is essential, along with excellent communication and relationship building skills. The ability to motivate, support, and work with educators across all aspects of service provision is also required.
