About The Role
We are seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to join our team as Head of Department - Humanities. In this role, you will lead the Humanities department to deliver quality learning outcomes, foster positive relationships, and drive innovation in teaching and learning. Reporting to the Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the department\'s vision and ensuring alignment with school and departmental priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead curriculum development in line with school and departmental initiatives.
Foster a shared educational vision focused on quality outcomes for all students.
Promote socially just practices and nurture positive relationships with students, staff, and stakeholders.
Set high standards for student and staff performance while supporting professional growth.
Manage resources effectively to achieve departmental and school goals.
Build partnerships with parents, community groups, and government agencies.
Stay informed on legislation and policies impacting students and staff.
