The Qantas Group’s main business is the transportation of customers and freight using two complementary airline brands — Qantas and Jetstar — operating regional, domestic, and international services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement internal change and communication strategies for Qantas Airlines Fleet Programs.Lead and manage large projects of work related to fleet change initiatives.Manage change and communications associated with the Entry-Into-Service (EIS) of new aircraft types, including A321XLR and A350-1000URL.Provide expert change management advice and lead the change portfolio.Set internal communication strategic direction in consultation with corporate communications teams.Collaborate closely with Fleet Programs leadership, operational business units, and stakeholders across all levels.Qualifications and Experience10+ years’ experience in employee and stakeholder communications and/or change management roles.Preferred: Aviation or large infrastructure project experience.Degree qualifications in Change Management, Project Management, Business, or Communication are highly regarded.Strong problem-solving and solutions delivery skills.Ability to translate strategic business issues into effective communication.Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.Knowledge of the Industrial Relations framework and its application.Broad understanding of Qantas Group’s culture and dynamics.Industry-specific knowledge of aviation.Why Qantas?Join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
