Civil Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team in Sunshine Coast.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality civil design solutions across a range of projects.
* Contribute to the development of project plans and prepare proposals.
* Undertake detailed civil design, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities.
* Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and other engineers at project meetings.
* Support project management activities, including scheduling and reporting.
* Assist with bids and proposals.
* Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER accreditation.
* 4+ years' experience in civil design for land development or brownfield projects.
* Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines and Australian Standards.
* Familiarity with brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management.
* Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project.
* Experience in QA processes and design reviews.
