Administration & Accounts Officer - Mackay
Contract - Full-time About the Role Achieve Group is currently seeking an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Administration & Accounts Officer to assist with a broad range of administrative, payroll, and finance-related tasks. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial processing, compliance, and operational support within the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Receivable processing
* Accounts Payable processing
* Payroll administration
* Driver Runsheet reconciliation
* Compliance administration and record keeping
* Monthly reconciliation of accounts
* Maintaining and updating the commitment register
* Preparation and support of weekly Profit & Loss reports
* Pallet stock control and reconciliation
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative or accounts support role
* Sound knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
* Payroll experience (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience in transport, logistics, or a similar industry (desirable but not essential)
Requirements
* Must be able to pass a National Police Check.
* Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
