Job Summary
The Process Improvement Lead will oversee the management of pallets across our logistics network.
About the Role
This role is responsible for developing and implementing efficient pallet tracking procedures to aid in business reporting against key performance indicators. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact for investigating discrepancies and communicating with customers. They will also be responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on pallet control customer terms and conditions, providing role coverage and training, and educating colleagues on effective pallet control methods.
* Responsible for creating and maintaining effective pallet control procedures that drive positive improvements to base processes and systems supporting pallet control across the logistics business.
* Focusing on continuous improvement in pallet management by working closely with operations, sales, and finance teams, as well as customers, to identify and solve repetitive issues related to pallet imbalances.
* Providing training and development opportunities in effective pallet control procedures for all roles contributing to pallet control within logistics.
* Monitoring KPI performance and collaborating with operational teams to discuss pallet management performance, presenting regular reports to management highlighting performance against KPIs, trends, opportunities, and threats.
* Supporting commercial and sales teams by offering insights into pallet management to inform customer terms and conditions, quoting, and pricing.
