Are you a hands‐on leader with a passion for quality construction, teamwork, and delivering projects to the highest standard? We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join us on a 6-month contract to oversee multiple job sites, guide teams, and ensure our builds are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Site locations between Brisbane and Hervey Bay.
You'll be responsible for planning daily activities, maintaining workflow, ensuring compliance with WHSEQ standards, and stepping in with carpentry or labour duties when required. Your leadership will directly influence the quality, safety, and timely delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee multiple job sites to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Lead teams to meet client deadlines and quality expectations
* Manage day‐to‐day planning, decision‐making, and delegation of tasks
* Maintain strong communication with team members and management
* Identify rework areas, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when required
* Support apprentices and team members at all levels
* Interpret plans, carry out measurements, and ensure high‐quality workmanship
* Champion a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
* Ensure all WHSEQ procedures and responsibilities are followed on site
* Monitor contractor performance and ensure safe systems of work
About you
* Strong communication and teamwork
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Initiative and problem‐solving ability
* Understanding of legislative and industry standards
* Carpentry trade qualification or minimum 5 years' trade experience
* Comprehensive understanding of the building industry
* Experience in modular and traditional commercial construction
* Computer literacy, including estimating software
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
